These wheat berries are a deep golden-red color, have a very bold, nutty flavoring, and a high protein count. They are incredibly versatile and can be used in multiple ways and recipes.
These Red Spring Wheat Berries are so versatile, they can be used in salads or milled down to a beautiful whole wheat flour that can be used to bake delicious Sourdoughs. How To Cook Wheat Berries
- 1 Cup Wheat Berries
- 3 Cups Water
- Bring 3 cups water to a boil in a saucepan. Add 1 cup wheat berries and reduce the heat. Simmer until tender, about 25 minutes
