Additional Sizes 25 LB Bucket

Clear Creek Black Beans are now packaged in our emergency, long-term storage buckets. Our buckets include a rubber gasketed lid that continues to keep these black beans in an air-tight container even after opening. These 3.5 gallon buckets are also a compact design for optimal storage in your kitchen or pantry. Clear Creek Black Beans are sourced from another Washington State farm so that we can continue to provide our customers with the rich flavors of the Pacific Northwest. Dried Black Beans may seem intimidating to cook with, but in reality they are incredibly easy and give your recipes a rich, dense, meaty texture. Cooking dried black beans takes just 45 minutes without any prior soaking.

Clear Creek products brought to you by Palouse Brand are sourced from neighboring Pacific Northwest farm and packaged in our facilities. Our facilities are annually audited by multiple agencies to ensure that we are providing high quality, food safe products. Through these food safety regulations, we provide a Best By date of 3 years. However, when stored properly in containers like these emergency, long-term storage buckets, these beautiful tiny black lentils can last decades. Bucket color may vary between blue and white.

*Due to the size and dimensions, buckets shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories will be charged a flat rate shipping fee per bucket at checkout. This only includes our bucket, all other products ship for free.

**This product is delivered to your home via UPS Ground in 5-7 business days.

HOW TO SPROUT BLACK BEANS

1 Cup Dry Black Beans

Rinse beans in cold water, then drain a total of three times. Transfer drained beans to a 1 quart glass jar and cover beans with cold water. Cover the jar with a paper towel and secure with a rubber band then let sit 12 hours.

Drain beans and re-cover, letting sit at room temperature. Rinse and drain the beans 1-2 times daily until sprouted.

Black Bean Burger Recipe

These black bean burgers hold their shape really well thanks in large part to the dense texture of the dried black beans. The best part about these burgers is that they are so quick and easy. The whole process from start to finish will take just 30 minutes and just one prep dish! Like we said, there aren’t enough words to praise these beans and burgers.
