How to Cook Black Beluga Lentils

1 Cup Dry Beluga Lentils

3 Cups Water

Rinse the black lentils, add 3 cups water to a pot, and bring water to a rolling boil. Add lentils then simmer for 15-20 minutes or until desired tenderness. Drain well.

How to Sprout Black Beluga Lentils

1 Cup Dry Beluga Lentils

Rinse lentils in cold water, then drain a total of three times. Transfer drained lentils to a 1-quart glass jar and cover lentils with cold water. Cover the jar with a paper towel and secure it with a rubber band then let sit for 12 hours.

Drain lentils and re-cover, letting sit at room temperature. Rinse and drain the lentils 1-2 times daily until sprouted.
