Palouse Brand small brown lentils are the Pardina variety of lentils which are increasingly difficult to find in grocery stores in North America. Our 5 pound lentils are packaged in a burlap bag.
Our burlap bags are plant-based, with the vegetable fibers being spun into strong threads to make the fabric. This kind of packaging is important for our products keeping the inside of the bag dark, preserving the color of our lentils. Brown lentils are a great alternative protein source, though our favorite lentil recipe is this incredible Carrot Cake.
