Making hummus at home is quick, easy and more affordable, with the exception of tahini. Tahini is a key ingredient when making traditional hummus but it is also expensive and not something you always have in your pantry. So here is our quick, easy and tahini-less hummus recipe.

Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked, Palouse Brand Chickpeas
- 3 tbsp. water
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- ⅓ tsp. salt
Directions
- Place all ingredients in a food processor. Process until smooth and creamy. If needed, additional water with thin out the hummus.
- Store covered in the refrigerator

Fantastic recipe! I don’t normally keep tahini at home, so this was perfect. I had some sesame seeds in the pantry, and I threw some of those in for added taste. These chickpeas are so tasty!
