Ingredients
- 6 cups raspberries or other soft frui
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbl multi-purpose flour
- ½ tsp cloves
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
- 2 tbl butter, cut into cubes
- 1 cup multi-purpose flour
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ¾ cup butter, melted
- Pinch of salt
Directions
- Preheat grill to 350ºF.
- In a bowl combine raspberries, sugar, flour, cinnamon, cloves, and salt. Stir to combine until everything is evenly coated.
- Pour mixture in a 10 inch cast iron skillet. Top with the cubes of butter.
- Place skillet on the grill and lower the cover. Cook until bubbling and hot, about 15 minutes.
- While the raspberries are cooking, make the biscuit topping. Combine all the biscuit ingredients and stir until combined.
- When the fruit is ready, dollop the raspberries with the biscuit mixture. Cook until the biscuits are browned, another 10-15 minutes.
- Remove from grill and let rest about 10 minutes before serving with whip cream or ice cream as desired.
