- Rinse the rye, then bring 3 cups water to a boil and season with salt. Add the rye and reduce heat to low. Simmer, stirring occasionally for 50-60 minutes.
Grown In Washington
Our Rye is family farmed in the heart of Washington State, guaranteeing superior quality and supporting local farms. Our Rye is Certified Glyphosate Residue Free, Non-GMO, Vegan, Non-Irradiated.
Baking Tips
For bread, cooked rye berries can be added directly to the dough. Aim for about 10-20% of the total flour weight for optimal texture. The cooked berries add moisture, so adjust liquid content of the dough accordingly.
Mill into Rye Flour
Our whole rye berries are perfect for home milling into fresh rye flour. The flour can be used for rye bread and other baked goods. Rye flour is low in gluten, but high in nutritional value.
