The first month was such a hit, let’s keep it going.  This February farm news edition is full of farm prep, a special product feature and if you make it to the end... a peek at a special offer.  We're excited to keep this journey going and share more about what makes our farm and products so special. 

Farm Update:  Getting Spring Ready! 

A busy winter at Mader farm, preparing for spring and beyond. While February might be a slower month for big events at Mader Farm, there’s no shortage of work behind the scenes. We’re currently deep into maintenance on our planting equipment to ensure everything runs smoothly come spring. Our next priority is getting the combines into the shop to start prepping for harvest. It may seem early, but planting season takes a lot of preparation—and we’re getting a jump on things to avoid stress down the road.

In addition to these preparations, we’re still hard at work hauling truckloads of products like chickpeas, green split peas, and wheat to the Palouse Brand processing facility. This happens year-round, but as Palouse Brand continues to grow (thanks to our awesome customers), the farm is busy hauling even more to keep up with demand. It’s all part of the process to make sure our high-quality products reach our customers on time. 

Lastly, the snow has finally arrived! It is starting to look like the typical winter wonderland here on the Palouse.
